Fairfield Farm Trust comprises a specialist college known as Fairfield Farm College for students with learning disabilities and an animal park and café known as Hope Nature Centre. The College is situated in the village of Dilton Marsh in Wiltshire. The 26-acre farm site includes well-resourced teaching areas, a student common room, conference room, café and a farm shop. Hope Nature Centre is located in Southwick Country Park, Trowbridge, there is a café, shop and animal park.


School Link Programmes

Work Experience Placements

  • Placements at Fairfield Farm College include Catering, Re-tail, Customer Care, Office Skills, Café or flexible to meet needs e.g. Farming, Animal Care, Horticulture.
  • £50 per day (can bring own support if required)
  • Additional support available at £19.11 p/hr.

Trainees at Hope Nature Centre

  • Short and long-term training opportunities for adults with learning difficulties in the Café, Kitchen or Animal Park.
  • £35 per day for trainees that are more independent.
  • £50 per day for trainees that need greater support.
  • Trainees are supported with CV writing and skills to help with other work opportunities.


Welcome to the Hope Nature Centre, a fun family day out, set in 15 acres of Southwick Country Park near Trowbridge. Come and join us for a spot of Breakfast or Lunch in our Cafe, before exploring our Animal Park. Come and see a variety of animals including; Goats, Sheep, Pigs,  Donkeys and much more. Open 7 days a week so come along for an afternoon of fun. We are a registered charity, formed as part of the Fairfield Farm Trust (Charity no. 273924)
