The Hope Nature Centre is a registered charity (No. 1080993) that was set up to help provide work placements for young adults with learning difficulties.

The charity is extremely proud to have been awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service (the equivalent of an MBE for voluntary groups) in 2011

We have also been shortlisted in two categories of the Wiltshire Life 2014 awards – the First award for the “Attraction of the Year” and the second award  for “Young Achiever of the Year”  In addition we were awarded the Wiltshire Council’s CVS Award for the “Most Inclusive Approach” in 2011. Hope Nature Centre’s fabulous gardens have been recognised many times in the Trowbridge in Bloom competition, most recently in 2012.

We currently have over 30 young adults with us but hope to take on many more when we have completed our expansion project

The object is to obtain funding and renewed planning permission for the planned tearoom extension. The project will extend both the north eastern and the south western ends of the establishment for which full planning permission has previously been granted. The north eastern end will be used for marriages, seminars, business breakfasts and meetings. The south western end extension will allow the kitchen size to be increased and the remaining area will be taken up by a new and improved staffing area which we hope will eventually include a teaching room
